Taking turns on Daddy

Having fun with Daddy

As I was sitting at the picnic table, watching my family, I couldn't help but smile. I could hear their giggles and squeals, the most precious sound. These two little boys love their Daddy.

Marker Attack

This is a picture of Noah after he was attacked by his marker. At least that was the story he gave me.

Mommy's little men

Let me just say that I love being a mommy. I feel blessed every day for Noah and Nate.

Psalm 100

Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands! Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting. And His truth endures to all generations.

Dirt ball

This is what it looks like when you have a sticky marshmellow face and then add dirt.

Daddy's Little Helper

This was a special time for Jared and Noah. Noah is at the age where he really loves to be involved and help. Jared used every opportunity to educate his son on everything he knew when it came to camping. It was so amazing as I sat back and watched the two of them work together while Jared guided Noah. Seeing the two of them bond has made me even more eager to homeschool the boys. I am looking forward to many more of these memories, sharing our knowledge and teaching are children about life.

Nate is one with nature

For some reason Nate found it necessary to lay on the ground throughout our trip. Usually he does this when he throws a fit, but not in these pics, he just felt like being one with the dirt I guess. And he certainly succeeded.

What a cook!

My husband is quite the cook. I was impressed by his "campfire cuisine." We enjoyed grilled BBQ chicken breast, pork chops, baked beans, parsley potatoes, pizza mountain pies, smores, egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches on the griddle, homefries, hot coffee.......I could go on and on. Thank you hon for feeding us well. I don't remember my jeans feeling this tight before the trip!
